I make complicated systems understandable—and dependable.

I enter unclear technical situations, understand the business around them, and turn both into a maintainable system. That can mean rescuing a deployment, designing internal workflows, building data infrastructure, or shipping a customer-facing product.

I’m a generalist by design: comfortable moving between architecture, interfaces, automation, deployment, and the conversations that reveal what the software actually needs to do.

I started freelancing in 2008 after years of running game servers, writing custom systems, and learning what happens when real users collide with your assumptions. Since then my work has crossed e-commerce pipelines, corporate and operational systems, developer tooling, DeFi infrastructure, and applied AI.

Previous work includes staking, governance, analytics, and data infrastructure for a DeFi platform that handled significant production usage. It is part of my engineering history, not the definition of what I do now.

I diagnose before I change code. I look for the real constraint, make the smallest defensible intervention, and leave the system easier to reason about than I found it.

AI-assisted development is a force multiplier in that process, not a substitute for judgment. The tools make exploration and implementation faster; production experience still decides what should be built, how it fails, and what “done” means.
